Join Jo from Boho Buddha for a guided meditation and sound bath in the beautiful studio at Breathe Stretch Float - home to SA's first and only Himalayan Salt Cave.
The philosophy of meditation is based on the principle that the mind and body are interconnected, and that by training the mind, we can influence the body and improve our overall health and wellbeing. The practice of meditation involves focusing the mind on a particular object, such as the breath or a mantra, and training it to stay in the present moment without distraction.
Meditation is often associated with relaxation and stress relief, but its benefits extend far beyond that. Research has shown that regular meditation practice can improve concentration and focus, reduce anxiety and depression, boost the immune system, and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. While sound healing can be used to improve sleep, boost the immune system, increase overall well-being and can be used as a way to meditate, or to reach a deeper meditative state.
While meditation may sound 'easy to do' for some, many find it difficult to sit or lie in stillness, calm the mind and just 'be'.
Her goal for you for these sessions is to break through the perception that meditating is hard or 'not for you' and to have you leaving calm, relaxed and completely reset - mind, body and soul!
